Recycling Appliances
The metal scrap yards do want your appliances if they are no good. There are many shops that will take your appliances away for free and they will fix them and sell them. There are many alternatives to just throwing your old appliances to the curb. The Salvation Army and Goodwill are great if your appliances are working and you just wanted a new one or something like that. This includes microwaves and stoves and fridges. This is another instance where giving it away is better than trashing something.
