Save Money On Eyeglasses With Zenni

Posted in Eco by damdanger on the April 7th, 2010

I have had to wear eyeglasses ever since I was in second grade. I have never been a huge fan of having to wear glasses, and an even smaller fan of how much I have to pay for them in order to be able to see. I have paid over $200.00 for a pair of glasses before, and that is just so much money for something that I cannot live without. In this economy it can be hard to come up with enough money for a new pair of glasses when they are needed, especially with how much they can cost. There is good news though for people like us who need glasses to be able to see, and that news is ZenniOptical.com. You may wonder how a website could be considered good news, but if you go there you will see what I am talking about. I found glasses on there just like the ones that I paid the huge money on for $20.00. This site is like a blessing to people who need glasses and cannot afford how much it costs from regular stores. Visit zennioptical.com if you need any kind of eyeglasses, all you need is your prescription and you will be on your way to a nice new pair of glasses for cheap!

Government Credits

Posted in Eco by damdanger on the April 7th, 2010

I was thinking the other day about how there are credits available on your taxes for things like making your home more energy efficient as far as windows and insulation and things like that, but what about those of us who cannot afford those kinds of improvements? I’d like to get a credit for what I do too, even if it does not cost that much, and it wouldn’t have to be a big credit or anything, just something. I wish that I could afford to update this house as far as energy efficiency goes, but it would cost so much and I cannot afford to do all of that. I would do it if the government gave me a credit before having to pay for it so I could use the money for such upgrades!

Going Green In Small Ways

Posted in Eco by damdanger on the April 7th, 2010

I have recently decided to go green in a few small ways. I have replaced all of my light bulbs with energy efficient light bulbs, which not only helps with the environment but also helps with my utility bills. The next thing that I did was start buying laundry detergent that is condensed so that there is less usage there. I really like the Greenworks line of household cleaners as well, as they do not burn my eyes like most cleaners do. You too can make small changes, and if everyone did it would make a large difference!
